I am a Toronto-based contemporary abstract artist. My work is an exploration of the complexities of human emotions by using the power of colour and the dynamic interplay of movement, largely influenced by Abstract Expressionism in contemporary art. Nature is my greatest muse, not only in its extraordinary colour palettes, but also in the effortless composition nature creates. These organic rhythms guide my process which is both intuitive and strategic, contemplating how the colours will evolve and interact with each other as I use air to push fluid acrylic paint across the levelled canvas. To further enhance the viewer’s experience, each painting if finished with a glass-like resin finish, creating art feels alive evoking both motion and stillness finding beauty in the unpredictable flow of life.
