I create abstract-expressionist paintings in acrylic paint using masking tape. I begin by masking out a grid pattern with tape. I then build up layers of acrylic paint across the surface before removing the tape. Finally, I place the tape back onto the surface in different configurations to create a glitchy-woven effect.
