Bill Parker

When I paint, my goal is to capture my emotions at the moment of creation; to make pictures that are raw and immediate, and that transmit an energy that is equal to that with which they are made.

I work quickly and with abandon, resisting the urge to judge my progress too soon. This gives my pictures an impulsive, energetic feel. The viewer is able to see and share the entire history of the painting’s birth. Warts and all.
