Oil painting with semi-abstract/impressionistic brush strokes.
My work focuses on ponds and reflective surfaces as quiet spaces where light, memory colour and emotion intersect. I’m interested in the way water dissolves boundaries between surface, depth, observation and feeling. The landscape around the water is present either in reflection or overhanging the water. It’s for the viewer to decide where they are drawn into the painting.
