I am a landscape and wildlife photographer with particular interest in the Muskoka, Algonquin Park, and Haliburton region. I get inspired by the opportunity to share this spectacular scenery with others through my photography and hope the work serves as a great reminder of what Canadians love about this part of Canada.
I also have traveled to other parts of the world and make a point of hiking and photographing those areas, including the SW USA, California, Spain, and Australia.
I get tremendous satisfaction out of the journey of capturing each image. The story behind each shot – the travel to get there – near or far from home, the time of day – sometimes getting up well before dawn, and the set up to capture the image are all part of the journey. Providing others with a finished photograph that has captured just the right amount of light and colour that allows them to see a spectacular scene the way I did is very rewarding.
